Challanges
Oribalt is one of the leading pharmaceutical wholesale companies in the Baltics, distributing over 200,000 products from 150+ global manufacturers to pharmacies, hospitals, and healthcare institutions across Latvia, Estonia, and Lithuania. They also operate InternetAptieka.lv, the largest online pharmacy in Latvia with over 9,000 products.
Despite the scale and reputation of the business, their website hadn't kept pace. The existing design felt visually dated, built around generic icon illustrations, dense text blocks, and an outdated layout that made the company appear smaller and less professional than it actually is. Key information about services like wholesale distribution, logistics, and retail was buried behind confusing navigation, and there was no clear visual hierarchy guiding visitors toward the content that mattered most.
The site served four different markets (Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, and a global English version), but the multi-language experience was poorly implemented with awkward region dropdowns and inconsistent content across versions. Service pages lacked depth, making it difficult for potential partners and pharmaceutical manufacturers to understand the full scope of Oribalt's capabilities.
For a company working with regulated healthcare products under strict GMP, GDP, and ISO standards, the website needed to communicate trust, professionalism, and scale. The old design wasn't doing any of those things.

Solution
We redesigned the entire Oribalt web presence and transforming it from a dated informational site into a modern, professional platform that reflects the company's position as a major player in Baltic pharmaceutical distribution.
Homepage. The new homepage leads with a clean, confident hero section showcasing Oribalt's core value proposition and real warehouse photography that immediately communicating scale and operational capability. A partner brand carousel (Lysi, Canderel, Floradix, Blistex, Sanohra, and others) reinforces credibility, while a prominent InternetAptieka.lv integration connects the corporate site to their consumer-facing pharmacy brand.
Service Pages. Each core service like Wholesale, Logistics, Retail, and Marketing, now has its own dedicated page with large-format photography, clear descriptions, and direct contact options including a toll-free phone number. The Wholesale page highlights Oribalt's regulatory credentials with a downloadable certificates section covering GMP compliance, pharmaceutical wholesale licence, manufacturing and importing licence, ISO 9001, and GDP compliance.
About Us. The company page was redesigned to tell Oribalt's story through real numbers: 200,000+ products, 150 employees, and €80 million annual turnover. A photo gallery of actual warehouse operations and team members replaces the generic stock imagery of the old site, building authentic trust with potential partners.
Multi-Language Architecture. We designed a clean language switcher supporting four regional versions like English (Oribalt Baltic), Latvian (Oribalt Rīga), Estonian (Oribalt Tallinn), and Lithuanian (Oribalt Vilnius), with each version presenting locally relevant contact information and office details.
Career Pages. A new careers section supports Oribalt's growth with structured job listings, detailed role descriptions, requirements, and an integrated application flow, helping attract talent as the company expands its operations.
Customer Testimonials. We introduced a testimonials section featuring feedback from pharmacists, dentists, and healthcare professionals and adding social proof that was completely absent from the previous site.
Responsive Design. The entire site was designed to work flawlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile. Ensuring healthcare professionals accessing the site between appointments or from warehouse floors get the same professional experience.
The result is a website that finally matches the scale and professionalism of one of the Baltic region's most important pharmaceutical distributors, built to attract new partners, support existing clients, and recruit top talent across three countries.
